Prince Charlie Jacket (off peg)

The Prince Charlie kilt jacket comes complete with a waistcoat (vest) - this is a very formal jacket, worn as part of a Highland Dress outfit.  

Nowadays however, it is by far the most popular style, being worn to all events from Weddings to Ceilidhs. The Prince Charlie would be worn without a belt and buckle (this would bulk under the vest), a full dress sporran, off white socks and ghillie brogues. The same kilt can be worn with either jacket style.
